Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson hold seven-point leads over their challengers in a new Quinnipiac University poll out Monday - and while early voting has been strong this year there are still plenty of votes yet to be cast. They also hold four-point leads in a new NBC/Marist poll.
Matt Corrigan with the University of North Florida’s Political Science department joined us with some analysis of where the races stand before voters head to the polls Tuesday.

Police And Body Cameras
Monday, the local state attorney’s office is hosting University of South Carolina Associated Professor of Law Seth Stoughton.
Stoughton was giving a presentation on body cameras. His session comes as the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office pilots use of the cameras. Stoughton is a frequent lecturer on policing issues and served as an officer with the Tallhassee Police Department for five years.
Stoughton joined us with a look at the issues police departments are facing as the public looks for greater accountability.

Sports With Cole Pepper
WJCT Sports Analyst Cole Pepper said if there’s one word to describe Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone, it’s “pragmatic.”
As the Jaguars come off their bye week with a just three wins and five losses, Pepper says Marrone doesn’t gloss over the bad.
Pepper also talks about Florida, Florida State and Georgia along with the high school football playoffs being set in Florida.
