The government has released a new climate report that says climate change is already causing more frequent and severe weather across the U.S., and the country is poised to suffer massive damage to infrastructure, ecosystems, health and the economy if global warming is allowed to continue.

The Trump administration released it on Black Friday. Thirteen federal agencies agree: climate change has already wreaked havoc on the United States, and the worst is yet to come.

Climate Central Features Journalist John Upton joined First Coast Connect on Monday with a look at the report and the situation in Florida.

Cyber Monday Tips

With Cyber Monday and the holiday shopping season well underway, how should you take advantage of the best online deals and what should you avoid? Also, what's the best way to protect your identity and credit cards online?

Ed Bides, bank security officer for Florida Capital Bank, joined us with some tips.

Buying Local

Whether online, the Riverside Arts Market, or in a neighborhood store, buying local is also top of mind for some holiday shoppers.

Flamingo Magazine has put together a local Florida-sourced holiday list to help shoppers. Publisher Jamie Rich ran down the Shop Fla.:  Holiday Gift Guide for us.

Embarrassing Loss For The Jaguars

The perhaps the worst part of the Jaguars losing 24  –  21  to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday was watching Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette’s ejection from the game for getting into a skirmish that started when teammate Dede Westbrook pushed Bills safety Micah Hyde.

WJCT Sports Analyst Cole Pepper joined us with what Fournette's likely suspension will mean on offense, especially with late word of the firing of Jaguars Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

Pepper also looked at the University of Florida’s dominating 41 – 14 win over Florida State University.
