JEA has a new CEO but he’s taking the job amid heavy criticism.

Also in the headlines this week, parents are suing over armed safety assistants in Duval Schools and JSO is racking up cold cases.

Light Up The House 5K And Family Day

Saturday the Light UpThe House 5K will be held in San Marco at 8 a.m.

Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House, the run is geared to athletes of all levels.

Every $5 raised will add a holiday light to the House until it’s completely lit.  A free family fun day with activities for the kids is also being held. Registration for runners is $35.
