Local businessman Dane Grey is joining JEA’s board of directors. At the same time, JEA officials continue to evaluate proposals from nine entities interested in privatizing the city-owned utility.  We talked  about the latest JEA developments with Kerri Stewart, Vice President and Chief Customer Officer.

Revolutionizing Heart Health Care

Local cardiologist  Dr. Nehu Patel, Medical Director at Jacksonville’s Synergy Lifestyle Center, and Dr. Salil Patel have teamed up with renowned physician and researcher Dr. Dean Ornish to treat cardiac patients with what they say is a revoluntionary new approach for intensive cardiac rehabilitation.

Ocean Sole Africa

A social enterprise and nonprofit from Kenya has a mission to turn the Earth’s flip-flop pollution into inspiring art. Ocean Sole Africa CEO Erin Smith tells us they’ve recently expanded into Northeast Florida.
