After facing criticism from City Council members, JEA now says it will not move forward with a long-term performance pay plan for its employees. The plan would have potentially given a huge financial windfall to JEA employees that participated, especially the highly paid senior staff, if the utility were sold.

Paula Poundstone is known for her recurring role on NPR’s Peabody award-winning show, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, plus an incredible 40-year career in the comedy business. She’ll be performing right here - at the WJCT Soundstage, in partnership with the Florida Theatre - at 8 p.m. this Saturday, November 23.
