Four former superintendents of Duval County Public Schools are banding together to urge voters to support the half-cent sales tax referendum to build safe, secure and modern schools in Duval County.

Two of them, Patricia Willis and Ed Pratt-Dannals who penned the document, joined us with more, and about the group.

Jacksonville and Southern Rock

Jacksonville is no stranger to southern rock, thanks to bands like The Allman Brothers Band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, which have ties to the city. Author Michael Fitzgerald spoke with us about the city's vast music history, which he chronicled in Jacksonville and the Roots of Southern Rock.

Arlington 20/20

The community group Arlington 20/20 is hosting a three-day festival to celebrate the community’s past, present and future.  Arlington 20/20 CEO Dr. Joy Hervey joined us with more.

Diaper Bank

We face serious struggles during this pandemic. Families everywhere are short on supplies, including diapers. Luckily, there is a new diaper bank in town that is hoping to help. Crystal Parks, the founder and president of theDiaper Bank for Northeast Florida Inc., joined us to share more about it.
