COVID-19 cases are continuing to rise locally and statewide, as concerns continue to grow over the vaccine's rollout.

Dr. Sunil Joshi, president of the Duval County Medical Society Foundation, and Dr. Jeffery Goldhagen, chief of the Division of Community and Societal Pediatrics at UF Health Jacksonville, joined us with the latest, including the city's plans to convert testing sites to vaccination sites.

Lung Cancer

Lung cancer patients on the First Coast have a new hope: the science of robotics. A new robot-assisted lung cancer screening technology is in use at the Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center’s interventional pulmonology program.

Guest: Program Director Dr. Aakash Modi.

Mackenzie Scott

Just before the holidays, philanthropist and author Mackenzie Scott, one of the world’s richest women, announced she would donate millions to nonprofits across the country, including here on the First Coast. One charity included in Scott’s holiday giving is United Way of Northeast Florida, which received $20 million.

Guest: United Way of Northeast Florida CEO Michelle Braun.
