Earth Day
Today is Earth Day. The Biden administration has rejoined the Paris Climate accords and is holding a summit today, pledging to seek ambitious cuts in emissions that are causing the planet to warm. However, Florida author John Englander says that there’s still plenty of other work to be done. We spoke to him about all this and his new book, Moving to Higher Ground.
Groundwork Jax
Groundwork Jacksonville will partner with other environmental nonprofit organizations to present Earth Day: A Celebration of Stewardship on Saturday, April 24. This free event will help raise environmental awareness and teach residents alike about what they can do to make the environment safer.
