The Acosta Bridge rainbow lights display is back for Pride month after a controversy over the LED lighting system being temporarily changed to the color blue.

Critical Race Theory

Activists rallied at FSCJ’s Downtown campus Thursday morning to protest the State Board of Education’s vote to ban Critical Race Theory in schoolsBen Frazier of the Northside Coalition of Jacksonville joined us with his take on the situation.

Skateboarding World Championship

Jacksonville has been selected as the host city of the inaugural Street League Skateboarding World Championship this fall.   It will take place at Downtown’s Riverfront Plaza, the former site of The Jacksonville Landing.  Alan Verlander, CEO of Airstream Ventures, the event’s local organizer, spoke to us about what’s to come.  

JME Music Experience
