World Vitiligo Day
June 25 is World Vitiligo Day. Vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder that causes white spots on the skin, is commonly referred to as a “forgotten” disease, but it's estimated to affect up to 2% of the population.
Dr. Ashley Wentworth of the Mayo Clinic joined us to discuss the disease and what the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville does to treat and study it.
