USS Orleck

A Navy ship that sailed during the Cold War era could be the city’s next Downtown museum. After years of planning, the City Council approved the retired naval vessel USS Orleck to dock on the downtown Northbank of the St. Johns river. The ship is going to be converted into a naval history museum

Justin Weakland, a veteran and leader of the Jacksonville Historic Naval Ship Association, told us more.
