Jacksonville ranks in the middle of the pack for dating this Valentine’s Day, according to Apartment List, an online rental aggregator site.
Overall, 47.5 percent of respondents in the Jacksonville reported being satisfied with their dating opportunities, ranking the River City No. 16 out of the 30 metro areas, including Tampa, which was the highest ranking Florida city with a 50.9 percent approval rating. Miami was next at 48.5 percent and Orlando trailed Jacksonville, at 35.4 percent.

Of positive responses in Jacksonville, 67 percent were from men, compared to 44 percent for women. The share of positive responses was 17 percent for those with a bachelor's degree or higher, compared to 55 percent for those with lower levels of education.
The results are based on an annual Apartment List survey of more than 13,000 renters nationwide from October 2016 through the first week of February 2017.
