Slideshow: Drive Electric Rally At Intuition Ale Works

EV enthusiasts from across the First Coast gathered in downtown Jacksonville Wednesday evening for the annual North Florida Drive Electric rally.

A wide range of all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles were on display in the parking lot across from Intuition Ale Works.

The show was part of the National Drive Electric Week initiative to raise awareness of electrified vehicles. Jacksonville's show was postponed from its original date due to Hurricane Irma.

Participants were treated to refreshments from Black Sheep on the Intuition Ale Works rooftop.

Among the sponsors of the show were the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization and JEA, along with the Clean Fuels Coalition and Sierra Club.

JEA offers rebates of up to $1,500 to utility customers that purchase a plug-in vehicle and the federal government offers a tax credit of up to $7,500. The size of the rebate and credit depend on the vehicle's battery capacity. Full details are available on JEA's website.
