There is much to do and enjoy during the week of Thanksgiving. Jacksonville and the surrounding areas will host events for everyone to partake in during the holiday weekend.

Jax Illuminations
Join Jax Illuminations for its fifth annual holiday light show. The one mile drive-thru features over half a million lights that dance, twinkle and sparkle to music. The event includes free hot chocolate and candy canes.

Downtown Dazzle
Jacksonville Children's Chorus presents Downtown Dazzle. The celebration includes festive lights synchronized to recorded songs of the season performed by the Jacksonville Children's Chorus. Holiday, Christmas and Hanukkah songs will be broadcast on 94.5 FM radio for onlookers to enjoy.
When: November 24th at 5:30p.m. This event will repeat every day until the 31st of December.

Nights of Lights
The 24th annual Nights of Lights will dazzle the city as some three million lights adorn every corner of the St. Augustine for two months. During Nights of Lights there are many special accommodations made for you to enjoy this holiday display. Businesses downtown will stay open later, letting you and shop around the lit buildings. The trains and trolleys offer special seasonal tours that take you through the best areas of Nights of Lights.

Jax Beach Deck The Chairs
Join them at the 5th Annual Jax Beach Deck The Chairs. More than twenty American Red Cross lifeguard chairs will be decorated in coastal-themed designs and lights in Downtown Jacksonville Beach. Kickoff is the day after Thanksgiving with chair decorating, music, hot cocoa, judging and lighting ceremonies.
When: November 24th-January 1st. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

WinterFEST at Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach

Christmas on the River at the Jacksonville Landing
The 31st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony features over 78,000 L.E.D. lights and more than 100 ornaments and performances highlighting Jacksonville’s local musicians. There will be nightly tree light shows until New Year’s Eve.
