Jacksonville Jaguars fans can start their late summer planning now that the four game preseason schedule has been released.

The Jaguars will play two home and two away games:

2018 Jaguars preseason schedule

Week 1: vs. New Orleans Saints (August 9-13)

Week 2: at Minnesota Vikings (August 16-20)

Week 3: vs. Atlanta Falcons (August 23-26)

Week 4: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Thursday, August 30)

*Exact dates and kickoff times will be announced once they are set by the league.

WJCT Sports Analyst Cole Pepper is most interested in the Jaguars-Falcons game.

That’s the one where the starters usually play into the third and - sometimes - the  fourth quarter.

Pepper said that will provide a first glimpse of what the team may be capable of in the regular season.

“Good news for the Jaguars and for Jaguars fans. The Jaguars third preseason game is at home and it is against a very good opponent: the Atlanta Falcons, a team that was in the Super Bowl two-years ago. So it should be a very good test for the Jaguars,” said Pepper

Pre-season play starts the week of August 9. Pepper said, the regular-season schedule should be released in the next week or two.
