Frontier Airlines is adding another route out of Jacksonville International Airport to San Antonio, beginning August 12.

The new service will be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

“This new service adds yet another new destination and affordable option for our leisure and business travelers,” said JAA CEO Steve Grossman in an email to WJCT News.

Thursday’s announcement comes a week after Frontier announced six new nonstop seasonal flights out of JIA:

  • Buffalo, N.Y.
  • Kansas City, Mo.
  • Las Vegas
  • Milwaukee, Wis.
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.
  • St. Louis, Mo.

Flight times and cost information is available on the Frontier Airlines website.
