Two Jacksonville men are off to prison for illegally supplying and distributing anabolic steroids.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, U.S. District Judge Brian J. Davis Monday sentenced 51-year-old professional body-builder Donald Long to a year-and-a-half in federal prison on Monday. His wife, Sarah, will serve 3-and-a-half years on probation — including a year under house arrest.
The couple was also ordered to turn over $250,000 in illegal proceeds.
Baker was ordered to forfeit a 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, a 2008 Cadillac Escalade, a 2011 Yamaha Drive Electric Golf Cart, a 2013 Kia Soul Sport, a 2007 Yamaha Motorcycle, jewelry, and proceeds in the amount of $124,418. Baker also consented to the forfeiture $37,800 in additional proceeds.
The Longs’ supplier, 30-year-old Gregory Baker, will spend three years behind bars.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office along with the Jacksonville Beach and Green Cove Springs police departments assisted in the federal investigation.
