Clay County residents who need a passport but can’t get to the clerk’s office during the week can apply for one at the clerk's Orange Park location on Saturday morning, June 8, which is the first time the office is offering weekend service.
On June 8, passport applications will be available by appointment-only from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Clay County Clerk’s Office at 1478 Park Avenue in Orange Park.
During the week, application forms are also available at the Clay County Courthouse at 825 North Orange Ave. in Green Cove Springs. Applications can also be submitted at anytime on the U.S. State Department website.
The only forms of payment accepted at the Clay County Clerk’s Office are personal checks, cashier’s checks or money orders.
