Two Jacksonville brothers will spend the next several years in federal prison for drug and gun offenses.

Federal prosecutors said Friday 32-year old Allen Branch and his brother, 33-year old Brian Branch, were associated with a drug-house on West 22nd Street on Jacksonville’s Northside.

Allen Branch was sentenced to five years and six months behind bars for distributing crack cocaine.

Brian’s sentence is 10 years and 10 months. It's longer because of an added firearm possession charge.

The case was prosecuted as part of the Department of Justice’s “Project Safe Neighborhoods” Program
