4 Otter Pups Go On Display At Jacksonville's Zoo

While one baby otter is cute, four are adorable.

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens’ four giant river otter pups will make their debut on Saturday, October 5.

The three females and one male were born June 18 as part of the zoo’s Species Survival Plan.

The Switzerland-based International Union for Conservation of Nature has classified the giant river otter as an endangered species.

The furry, 6-foot-long fish eaters are native to the rainforests of South America.

It’s estimated there are fewer than 5,000 giant river otters living in the wild.
