JTA: Santa Delivers Holiday Cheer On Jacksonville Bus Routes

JTA
Keep a sharp eye out and you might spot Santa Claus driving a holiday-themed bus between now and Christmas Eve.

Every Christmas Eve, Santa Claus flies around the world in his magic sleigh, delivering presents to good little boys and girls.

Until then, he’ll be cruising around the River City in the Jacksonville Transportation Authority’s holiday bus.

Starting Monday, the specially-decorated bus will spread holiday cheer to riders on different bus routes every day until Christmas.

“Santa Claus is driving. You’ve got holiday music, decorations. I think they’ll have some candy canes and other stuff to give away. So if this bus just happens to be the one that’s on your trip, you just happen to get a free ride that day,” said JTA spokesman David Cawton II.

Like any good holiday gift, JTA wants riders to be surprised when the festive bus shows up.

Those who really want to make sure they get a dose of holiday cheer can call JTA and find out where Santa will be that day at (904) 630-3100.
