Nearly 55% of Florida voters have already cast their ballots ahead of the final weekend of early voting.
As of late Friday morning, more than 7.8 million of the state’s nearly 14.5 million registered voters had cast their ballots either by mail or in-person.
So far, Democrats have cast 163,000 more ballots than Republicans.

Leon County Supervisor of Elections Mark Earley said now is the time for those who have yet to vote to make a plan.
“People are heeding the call to not wait until the last minute. It takes longer to vote in person, so we’ve been trying to spread that volume out throughout our early voting cycle.”
Early voting on the First Coast ends at the following times this weekend:
Saturday
- Baker, 6:30 p.m.
- Clay, 7 p.m.
- Flagler, 6 p.m.
- Putnam, 6 p.m.
- St Johns, 7 p.m.
Sunday
- Duval, 7 p.m.
- Nassau, 6 p.m.
Vote-by-mail ballots must be turned in to the local supervisor of elections office by the time the polls close at 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
