Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 10 is training through Friday, Nov. 20 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The training includes patrol boats conducting operations and firing blank rounds near the Mulberry Cove Marina on the city's Westside along the St. Johns River.
Residents in the area may hear loud noises during the training days.
The NAS Jacksonville Public Affairs Office said in a news release that the training is vital to preparing the team for future missions.
