City Announces 2020 Jacksonville Holiday Boat Parade, Fireworks
Jacksonville kicks off the holiday season next Saturday, November 28, with the annual Light Boat Parade along the St. Johns River.
Vessels of various shapes and sizes, with their hulls lit and decorated, will make their way up and down the river in a loop of Downtown.
This year’s Light Boat Parade casts off at 6 p.m
It will end around 8 with a fireworks display, including the city’s signature waterfalls-of-fire off the Main Street and Acosta bridges.

“The Jacksonville Light Boat Parade is a holiday tradition that we’ve been grateful to produce for over 30 years here in the City of Jacksonville,” said Mayor Lenny Curry in an email to WJCT News.
Spectators can watch the show from the North and Southbank Riverwalks, including Riverfront Plaza and Friendship Fountain.
Riverfront Plaza is what the city is now calling the grassy area where the Jacksonville Landing formerly stood.
