Jax No Longer Offering 1st Dose Of COVID Vaccine; State Now Administering Shots

The state is now administering COVID-19 vaccines at the Regency Square mall.

The city of Jacksonville announced Friday morning it has finishing distributing its allotted supply of the first dose of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.The Lane Wiley and Mandarin senior centers will now be open only to provide the second dose to patients who had already received their first. 

Anyone who has received the first dose of the vaccine at either of these two centers should return to the same location, 21 days later, to receive the second dose, according to the city.

Florida’s Department of Emergency Management is now leading all vaccine distribution in Duval County at the Regency Square Mall. Florida residents age 65 and older and healthcare workers with direct patient contact can call 866-200-3762 to attempt make an appointment.
