Rent, Internet, Utility Assistance Now Available In Clay County

Clay County residents having trouble paying their rent because of the coronavirus pandemic now have another opportunity to apply for emergency assistance after the application portal reopened on July 1.

Apply for the assistance here.

Applicants can receive up to 15 months’ worth of financial help with rent, internet and utility payments.

People living in extended-stay hotels are also eligible for assistance if they can prove they’re residents of Clay County and that they were negatively impacted by COVID-19.

Clay County got more than $6.5 million dollars from the federal government for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
