Naval Hospital Jacksonville training drills will be held Tuesday, which could include simulated explosions and simulated gunfire.
The training is part of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care program, which is vital to preparing Naval Hospital Jacksonville medical professionals in performing their jobs under battlefield conditions, according to Naval Air Station Jacksonville spokeswoman Kaylee Larocque.
The training scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon. Naval Hospital Jacksonville is part of the Naval Air Station Jacksonville base on the city's Westside.
