7 Farm Share Food Giveaways This Week In The Jacksonville Area

A food pantry in Jacksonville

In Northeast Florida the non-profit Farm Share has set up distribution events for food-insecure residents to receive fresh produce and non-perishable canned goods.

Distribution takes place at drive-thru only locations to minimize contact and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Recipients who show up are required to wear a mask and bring a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed to hold the food.

Farm Share will be set up at the following locations and times:

 

Event: Farm Share food distribution with American Legion Post 250 (Serving 200 households)

Date: Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 3939 Co Road 218, Middleburg 32068

Event: Farm Share food distribution with CMBC Family Life Center (Serving 200 households)

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 1414 Bronson St., Palatka 32177

Event: Farm Share food distribution with Philadelphia MB (Serving 200 households)

Date: Thursday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 5577 Moncrief Road, Jacksonville 32209

Event: Farm Share food distribution with First Baptist Church Callahan (Serving 400 households)

Date: Thursday, Sept. 16, from 4:30 p.m. until supplies last

Event:  Farm Share food distribution with Councilman Reggie Gaffney and Family Dollar Shopping Center & CRC (Serving 400 households)

Date: Saturday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. until supplies last

Event: Farm Share food distribution with State Rep. Tracie Davis and Open Arms Christian Fellowship (Serving 400 households)
