In Northeast Florida the non-profit Farm Share has set up distribution events for food-insecure residents to receive fresh produce and non-perishable canned goods.
Distribution takes place at drive-thru only locations to minimize contact and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
Recipients who show up are required to wear a mask and bring a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed to hold the food.
