5 Farm Share Food Giveaways This Week In The Jacksonville Area

In Northeast Florida the non-profit Farm Share has set up distribution events for food-insecure residents to receive fresh produce and non-perishable canned goods.

Distribution takes place at drive-thru only locations to minimize contact and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Recipients who show up are required to wear a mask and bring a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed to hold the food.

Farm Share will be set up at the following locations and times:

 

Event: Farm Share food distribution with Emmanuel Church of God in Christ

Date: Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 451 S 8th St., Macclenny 32063

Event: Farm Share food distribution with Wilkinson Jr. High (Serving 300 households)

Date: Thursday, Sept. 23, from 5 p.m. until supplies last

Location: 5025 Co Road 218, Middleburg 32068

Event: Farm Share food distribution with Northwest Jacksonville Community Development Corporation

Date: Friday, Sept. 24, from 9 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 3416 Moncrief Road, Jacksonville 32209

Event: Farm Share food distribution with Abess Park Elementary School (Serving 500 households)

Date: Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 12731 Abess Blvd., Jacksonville 32225

Event: Farm Share food distribution with Northside Coalition of Jacksonville, Inc (Serving 300 households)

Date: Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 8793 Sibbald Road, Jacksonville  32208

Event:  Farm Share food distribution with State Rep, Tracie Nixon and Greater Works Church (Serving 350 households)

Date: Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. until supplies last

Location: 12263 Sago Ave. W, Jacksonville 32218
