The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair returns Thursday after being on hiatus last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fair will be at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds (510 Fairground Place, Jacksonville 32202) next to TIAA Bank Field for 10 days, from Thursday, Nov. 4, to Sunday, Nov. 14th.
On Friday, Nov. 5, the fair will be open for just two hours, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., because of bad weather approaching the area. Mike Walker is set to perform on the main stage. However, mechanical rides are halted, and food service is limited. Seniors get in free on Friday.
General admission is $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children ages 6-12.
The fair also offers a new daily special each day, such as Family Night and Senior Day, that offers bonuses and discounts to qualifying attendees.
Some featured performers this year include Joe Nichols, Parmalee and Kazual.
