Hundreds of people rallied Wednesday evening in Northeast Florida in support of abortion rights, part of a wave of protests across the country.
Women's March Florida's Jacksonville chapter organized a rally at the Duval County Courthouse after a draft opinion by the Supreme Court leaked Monday night showing the court may overturn Roe v. Wade.
Protesters marched to James Weldon Johnson Park and then returned to the courthouse. A Jacksonville sheriff's deputy estimated the crowd as large as 2,000 people by the end.

About 100 others gathered for a demonstration in St. Augustine.
The draft majority opinion, written by Justice Samuel Alito, is not a final opinion, however, and the court could still decide differently.
