A new 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital to help patients recover from debilitating illnesses and injuries is close to completion on Jacksonville's Southside.
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jacksonville, at 11595 Burnt Mill Road near Gate Parkway, is scheduled to open in early June, Brian Soares, CEO of Encompass Health Jacksonville, told the Times-Union in an email.
Construction began last summer and is substantially complete. Final inspections are in progress.
