Time is running out to register to vote in the Aug. 23 primaries. The deadline is Monday, the 25th.
Want to vote? Keep this in mind:
How do I register? Go here to register online. In Duval, you can also register in person at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 105 E. Monroe St., or at all branches of the Jacksonville Public Library and the Tax Collector’s Office. Here’s the full list of locations for Duval County.
I’ve voted before. Do I have to do anything? It’s a good idea to check whether your registration is up to date, especially because of a 2021 state law requiring voters to provide either a driver’s license/Florida ID number or the last four digits of their Social Security number to update their records or receive a mail-in ballot. Letters recently mailed to some Duval voters said those identifiers were not on file.
