Early voting for Duval County starts Monday for elections happening Aug. 23.
A mixture of local, state and federal offices are on the ballot, including a county\wide referendum on raising property taxes for the Duval County School District. For more information on local candidates or issues, Jacksonville Today has made several voter guides on some of the hotly contested races.
You can see a sample ballot for your registered address at the Duval Supervisor of Elections website, as well as a list of the 20 early voting sites being used in the primary. Although you are required to vote at your specific precinct on Election Day, registered voters can cast ballots at any early voting location.
Early voting starts Aug. 10 in Nassau County and Aug. 13 in Clay and St. Johns counties. All three continue through Aug. 20. Early voting in Duval runs through Aug. 21.
