World of Nations returns in February

Jacksonville is gearing up for its 31st Annual World of Nations Celebration, a multicultural festival set for the weekend of Feb. 18 and 19 at Tailgaters Parking on Talleyrand Avenue.

The annual international festival features a variety of countries, some showcasing food native to that nation as well as traditional music, artwork and clothing.

Countries participating in the World of Nations Celebration include The Bahamas, People's Republic of China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, U.S.A., U.S. Virgin Islands and Venezuela.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 18 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 19. Tickets are $8 plus tax for children and teens, and $10 plus tax for adults, no cash accepted.
