The Arlington Expressway is in line for resurfacing, and the public can get information about the project next week.

The Florida Department of Transportation plans an open house at 4 p.m. Thursday at Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Boulevard N.

The $26 million project includes milling and resurfacing the expressway, service roads and the Red Bay Branch bridges. Contractors will remove the Colcord Avenue ramp, along with making improvements to pavement marking and pedestrian safety.

The work is scheduled to begin in April and be done by fall 2024, the FDOT said. The two-hour meeting also will be available online at nflroads.com/vph.
