The VyStar Parking Garage has three new tenants, joining the Jacksonville Children's Chorus.

Three new tenants are going into retail space in the Vystar Parking Garage in Downtown Jacksonville.

They are:

  • Pour Taproom, a self-serve business that offers an assortment of local, regional and national beers, wines and spirits, along with gastropub care.
  • OneJax, a nonprofit that promotes racial, religious and cultural tolerance in the Jacksonville area. OneJax is separating from the University of North Florida because of the state's drive to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion programs at public universities.
  • Level the Playing Field Leadership Academy, a nonprofit that empowers young male athletes of color from single-parent homes.

Those groups will join the Jacksonville Children's Chorus, which moved into the garage space in February. The chorus's space includes a large rehearsal and performance space, offices and meeting rooms.

The 759-space parking garage, opened last year at 28 W. Forsyth St., provides parking for VyStar employees and people visiting the retail tenants and the surrounding area. Vystar officially celebrated the garage's opening with a ceremony Tuesday.

“The new VyStar Parking Garage on Forsyth is much more than a place to park. It introduces new retail, restaurant and nonprofit centers to Downtown Jacksonville, which further supports our efforts to revitalize the area,” Chad Meadows, VyStar’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, said in a news release.

Darren Dailey, president and artistic director of the Jacksonville Children's Chorus, said, "The space is more than we ever imagined."

The parking garage is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week with security. Parking fees for non-VyStar employees are $3 for the first hour and $2 for every additional hour with a maximum of $25 per day.
