Jacksonville recyclers have four opportunities to learn from “oops” tags attached to their recycling bins in the coming months — or else their bins may no longer be useable.
Recycling inspectors are going to all four Jacksonville zones, educating residents on what non-recyclable items contaminate their bins.

The goal, City Council Vice President and program advocate Ron Salem said, is to cut down on the amount of trash put in bins to save the city hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.
