Steve Wozniak and Mike Krzyzewski are among Florida Forum speakers

The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital

Apple's co-founder joins a legendary college basketball coach and an award-winning retired admiral as the next to take the stage at the 2023-24 Florida Forum Speaker Series.

Presented by The Women’s Board, the Florida Forum raises awareness and funds for Wolfson Children's Hospital.

The coming speakers are:

  • Mike Krzyzewski, former coach of the Duke University men’s basketball team, on Nov. 8.

  • Steve Wozniak, Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur and philanthropist, on Jan. 17.
  • Retired Adm. James Stavridis, who received numerous U.S and international medals and decorations while serving for 37 years in the U.S. Navy, on Feb. 26.

Over its 31 years, the Floria Forum has hosted speakers such as ex-Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, former First Lady Laura Bush, actor James Earl Jones and legendary quarterback Peyton Manning. Over those years, the event has aided The Women’s Board's efforts to raise $35 million for equipment and facilities at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
The Florida Forum series events take place at 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts. The series is made possible by sponsors like Wells Fargo, Landstar and Florida Blue. This year’s speaker series co-chairs are Meg Folds, Drew Haramis and Robin Love.

The Women’s Board has committed to raise $1.5 million for a new Kids Kare Mobile ICU, a Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Transport vehicle, by 2024. The Women’s Board also produces The First Coast Design to raise funds for Wolfson.
