St. Augustine now has a digital parking platform to help tourists and residents easily identify parking options in the historic downtown area.
In collaboration with Modii, the St. Augustine Parking Finder website can post parking options directly on drivers’ cellphones before they arrive downtown.
The digital platform’s real-time parking information could also alleviate congestion, improve traffic flow and ensure that everyone can find parking options easily, Assistant City Manager Reuben Franklin said.
Key features of the Parking Finder website are up-to-the-minute parking conditions and availability of spots in the Historic Downtown Parking Facility. City staff can also update road closures, city events and more.
