President Donald Trump is threatening to move the Republican National Convention out of Charlotte this summer unless North Carolina Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper can assure "full attendance" will be allowed. Cooper has said North Carolina is guided by public health and nothing else.

Voting Rights Restoration for Florida Citizens with a Prior Felony Conviction
Earlier this week, a federal judge ruled that residents with a prior felony conviction do not have to pay all fines and fees before registering to vote. However, Gov. Ron DeSantis later announced that he plans to appeal the decision.
