In court this afternoon, bail was set at $1 million for the man who allegedly claimied he had a bomb at Jacksonville International Airport on Tuesday night.
39-year-old Zeljko Causevic’s first court appearance was this afternoon before Duval County Judge Russell Healey.
He was charged with making a false report about planting a bomb and making a fake bomb, both second-degree felonies. His next court date is set for Wednesday, October 23.
Authorities say Causevic told airport security screeners that he had a bomb in his backpack, but they only found a small luggage scale with two batteries and a microchip.
Causevic was arrested and the airport was shut down for five hours, canceling flights and stranding passengers.
