Eastbound Hart Bridge To Flow West For Jaguars Game

The Jacksonville Sheriff's office is changing the traffic patterns for Sunday's Jaguars game against the San Diego Chargers.

All lanes on the Hart Bridge will flow into downtown from 9 a.m. until 2  p.m.

Assistant Chief Leonard Propper says the change is being made to be more accommodating to Jaguar fans who normally use the currently closed Mathews Bridge. There will be plenty of signage and a police presence to direct traffic around the stadium.

Propper is asking fans parking in lots A through F and west of the stadium to use the "counter flow" lanes. He says fans parking east of the stadium should use the normal westbound lanes of the Hart.

The traffic pattern will effect people heading home from church downtown Sunday morning. Propper says since the eastbound lanes of the Hart won't be available, church goers should take the Main Street, Acosta or Fuller-Warren Bridges to get to the Southside or Arlington. He says people heading from downtown to the Beaches and Ft. Caroline should take Zoo parkway to the Dames Point Bridge.

JSO will be posting traffic information on it'sTwitter page Sunday.
