Tonight, Jacksonville mayoral candidate Lenny Curry is holding a rally called #UniteJax. Several Republican candidates for local office are uniting around a call to fix Jacksonville’s issues.
Two headliners of the Curry rally are state officials and Republican Party heavyweights. Curry says Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam and Attorney General Pam Bondi will help him Unite Jacksonville around his message.
“I have known them for years. They are good, conservative, principal conservatives, and they are also friends of mine so I am grateful that they are here, they love Florida, and they understand how important Jacksonville is to the rest of the state.”
Curry says all of the Republicans running for local office agree: problems need to be solved so Jacksonville can be a place where kids and grandkids are going to want to live, in years to come.
The Unite Jax rally is at the downtown Hyatt from 4:30 to 6 this evening.
