Wet, windy and possibly dangerous weather is in Tuesday afternoon’s forecast for the First Coast.
National Weather Service meteorologist Scott Cordero said a low pressure system moving across the area will produce strong thunderstorms, 58-mile-an-hour-plus winds and, quite possibly, destructive hail.

“We’re looking at potential hail that could be as large as tennis balls. And we do have a tornado watch in effect for all of Northeast Florida including Charlton and Camden counties in Southeast Georgia.”

Things are expected to calm down considerably by early evening leaving us with clearing skies and cooler temperatures.
