Florida Bar Releases Judicial Candidate Guide

Wikimedia Commons

The Florida Bar has put together a judicial candidate guide just in time for the August 28 elections.

The bar said it’s compiled detailed information on more than 100 county and circuit court judicial candidates.

The organization that licenses Florida lawyers asked all candidates for 10-page self-disclosure statements.

The bar has also created a judicial voter guide that explains the judicial election process and some of the main issues at play. That’s available online or in print by request.

Seven circuit and county judge candidates who are running in Northeast Florida have filled out the bar’s self-disclosure statements. That’s out of the nearly 30 candidates who are up for retention or election.
