Robert Phillips with the Duval County Elections Office said Monday the most important things to do before heading to the polls is to make sure you have your photo ID and know which voting precinct is yours.
“You have to vote in the precinct where you live. So even if you voted early in previous elections, you might go to that library or that community center and they might tell you that’s not your polling place on Election Day,” said Phillips.
Voters can look up their precinct location and print a sample ballot before heading to the polls.
WJCT has put together a Voters’ Guide with profiles of many of the candidates, news coverage, campaign finance reports and more.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
At 7 p.m. WJCT News will begin providing live election coverage – including constantly updated election returns – on 89.9 FM and at WJCT.org.
