Demonstrators protest the Russian invasion of Ukraine outside of the White House in Washington on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

As the war rages on, local faith communities are looking for ways to help Ukrainians affected by the devastating effects of war.

An interfaith group of spiritual leaders has organized a prayer vigil and donation drive. They’re encouraging folks of any faith, or none, to attend.

The event is sponsored by Together Jax Inc. and the Interfaith Center of Northeast Florida.

The vigil is this evening from 6:30 - 7:30 at Klutho Park. Those interested in attending can sign up on Eventbrite. Guest: the Rev. Anatoli Kadev, pastor at The First Russian Ukrainian Baptist Church of Jacksonville Florida.
