One of the most visible races in Tuesday’s primary election is that of U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho against Jake Rush.
Yoho is the incumbent and a Tea Party favorite. Rush is a Gainesville lawyer and a former sheriff's deputy.
The two are vying for a two-year term, and the winner will face Democratic candidate Marihelen Wheeler and Independent candidate Howard Lawson in the November general election.
WJCT’s Michelle Corum spoke with University of South Florida political science professor Susan MacManus about the race in Florida’s third Congressional District.
