The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday ordered that at least eight congressional districts be redrawn because of violations of an anti-gerrymandering constitutional amendment. The order will require the Legislature "on an expedited basis" to redraw congressional districts represented by Corrine Brown, David Jolly, Kathy Castor, Ted Deutch, Lois Frankel, Mario Diaz-Balart, Carlos Curbelo and IleanaRos-Lehtinen. The order also could affect neighboring districts. WJCT will have a full report from The News Service of Florida later today.
